P002 → Coca-Cola: Building
The brief from Coca-Cola was simple: demonstrate how their iconic product shows up in everyday situations.
And the simple truth is that the ubiquitous beverage is frequently a guest star in a lot of life’s big moments, from first dates to retirement parties. Our goal was to find a way to tell those sweet stories where the product showed up as naturally as it does in real life.
We arrived at the mechanic of an apartment building where each floor tells a tale of the human experience. The viewer is taken from a street level meet cute all the way up to to a penthouse 50th anniversary party, with bottles of Coca-Cola seamlessly integrated into the action.
We worked with acclaimed directors Smith + Foulkes to create a hybrid production approach, one which integrated character animation with practical miniature sets:
